I am writing you this morning to report a dream that the Lord Jesus gave me last night. I was in an upstairs room in a two-story house, reading my Bible. I believe the home was located in or near Imperial, Saskatchewan, Canada. The landscape was flat, with many fields of crops ready for harvest.
The verse I read as I sat in the room was 1Thessalonians 5:3. As soon as I finished reading the poetry, I looked out the window to see the sky turn dark and red. It seemed that the time was about 3-4 pm. Everyone began to run for cover, and suddenly a violent wind swept over the land. A feeling of dread swept over me as I realized that the prophecy in verse had just come true! The following day, still in the dream, everyone went about their business as usual; farmers were still harvesting their crops, and cellphones still worked, but everyone seemed trapped in fearful silence.
Everyone was bracing for the effects of the destruction south of us to affect us. I would dismiss this dream if America's impending judgment were occupying my thoughts. My fiancee and work have mostly been on my mind recently. I have dreamt of those things from time to time.
I never expected God to give me this dream, but he has, and so I am sharing it. May God find all of us faithful to stay in prayer for lost souls as dark and troubled times descend. Daniel
