We Often Fail To See God’s Plan

We often fail to see God’s plan because we feel that we’re too small But God doesn’t need our abilities He just needs someone who will answer to His call.

Unlikely Champions

There is a famous story of a champion from Gath whose height was six cubits and a span

To face this champion in battle the Israelites could not find a single man.

But God had a champion of His own one who was willing to take a stand.

He had no attributes of a champion but David knew God had a plan.

We often fail to see God’s plan because we feel that we’re too small

But God doesn’t need our abilities He just needs someone who will answer to His call.

God has raised up unlikely champions throughout all recorded history

While the enemy’s champions are visibly strong God’s champions often are a mystery.

Before David slew his giant there was a boy with a coat of many colors another unsuspecting lad

And what his jealous brothers did to him indeed is very sad

But a young man sold into slavery enduring circumstances we could not imagine

Ruled and saved a nation becoming God’s unlikely champion.

In orphanages, schools, churches and in homes around the world someone who is little known

God is growing in a young man or woman the seeds of a champion the seeds the He has sown

They will be a Joseph and rescue entire nations

Or perhaps they’ll be a David defeating gigantic aberrations or enormous situations.

We have heard it said that God always has a remnant and He is raising up one today

But I think He’s raising up unlikely champions, those who seek His face and pray.

The enemy knows his time is short and seeks to resurrect Atlateans

God is looking into men’s hearts to raise up radical unlikely champions.

Those who will champion the case for the yet unborn

Those who will be a champion for the victims of child porn

Those who will champion the plight of those who live out on the street

Those who will champion the suffering of those with nothing to eat

Unlikely champions who were freed from their addictions

Unlikely champions who were healed from their afflictions

Unlikely champions who will stand with fierce conviction

Unlikely champions standing in the face of all contradiction

Those who will champion the Good News of the Bible

Those who will be a champion in a congregation needing revival

These will be His champions on the day of His Arrival.

These will be more than followers but champions He calls disciples.
